Lycos http://www.lycos.com
(Note: you can access Alta Vista easily through Yahoo if you don't find what you're looking for. A link should be available after you have searched on yahoo.)
Free E-Mail Addresses!
There are many sites on the InterNet at which you can obtain free e-mail addresses such as the ones listed below. Whilst you do need JavaScript 2.0 (and above) to be ablle to properly use most of these sites, I can highly recommend Yahoo mail. Also, none of these sites have POP3 servers, so you will actually have to log into the site using your browser, but they do allow you to check your mail from any browser, on any computer connected to the InterNet!
Yahoo! (includes My Yahoo options for news, share prices, weather, and more!)
USA.Net (can be a little annoying with a slow connection - too graphical last time I looked).
HotMail (also a bit slow)
RocketMail (Existing users only)
